How does booking work?

Find the vendor you want, pick a package and a date, and send the request. The vendor accepts or declines, and you both get an email either way. Nothing is booked — and nothing is owed — until they accept.

Do I need an account to book?

Yes, and it takes a minute: your name, phone and email. We need a way to reach you about your booking, and the vendor needs to know who is asking.

How quickly do vendors reply?

Most answer within a day. If it has been six hours with no reply, a "remind them" button appears on your booking; if they still go quiet, our team steps in and contacts them directly.

Can I book more than one vendor for the same event?

Yes — that is the point. Add a food truck, a photographer and a band to the same event, and send the requests together. Each vendor answers for themselves, and you see the whole event in one place.

When do I get the vendor’s phone number?

Once they accept. Until then you can message them through Venluo. Keeping the conversation here means the dates, prices and promises are written down if anything goes wrong.

Is Venluo free to use?

Browsing and sending requests is free. You are never charged for asking a vendor whether they are available.

How do I pay?

Venluo does not take card payments yet, so you settle with the vendor directly. Prices on a listing are the vendor’s own. The total shown when you plan an event also includes Venluo’s 6% service fee — we are not collecting it while payments are still off, and we will say so plainly before that changes.

Why do some prices say "per guest" or "per hour"?

Because vendors price differently, and the same vendor may price each thing differently: a buffet per guest, a musician per hour, chair hire as one flat fee. Every package says which it uses, so the number you see is the number you can plan around.

Can I cancel a booking?

Yes, from your bookings page. Each vendor sets their own cancellation policy — flexible, moderate or strict — and it is shown on their listing before you request, so you know where you stand.

What if the vendor cancels on me?

They must tell you through Venluo, and anything you have paid is returned in full. Cancellations inside 48 hours of the event are flagged to our team, and repeated late cancellations cost a vendor their place on Venluo.

Us. Use the contact page or reply to any Venluo email. We can see the booking, the messages and the timings, so you do not have to explain from scratch.

Is every vendor checked?

Yes. Every application is reviewed by the Venluo team before the listing appears, and photos are moderated too. Vendors who have shown us their commercial registration carry a "verified" badge.

Can anyone leave a review?

No. Only a customer whose booking was confirmed and whose event date has passed can review, once, for that booking. Nobody can buy or edit their way to a better rating.
